Commitment to John Wyke, parson of the church of St. Stephen, Bristol, William Cotes, vicar of the church of Almondesbury, and John Balle, vicar of the church of St. Augustine, Bristol, by mainprise of Thomas Beaupyne and Laurence Clerk of Bristol, of the keeping of a grove of wood called Lorewynchesgrove with a parcel of pasture adjoining near Le Hethefeld in the hundred of Berkeley, which for certain causes have been taken into the king's hand by Robert de Whityngton, escheator in the county of Gloucester, to hold the same, together with the issues from the time of the said taking, until it be decided in the king's Tested by Edmund duke of York, guardian of England, whether the grove ought by right to pertain to the king or them, provided that they answer at the Exchequer for the above and all other issues of the grove if it shall be adjudged that ought to pertain to the king, and also keep the grove waste and destruction, and do and support the real serand all other charges incumbent thereon.
