Order to the escheator in the county of Leicester, pursuant to an inquisition made by him shewing that a fourth part of a twentieth part of a knight's fee in Medburn, which is held of the king in chief by knight service, came to the hands of Edward IIT by the death of Edmund de Fretheby and by reason of the minority of John de Fretheby, his son and heir, who died a minor in the late king's ward, and that afterwards it came to the king's hand by reason of the minority of Maud and Elizabeth, sisters and heirs of the said John, who likewise died while minors in the king's ward, and that it is still in the king's hand, and that Anketil Hanby, son of Alice the daughter of Anketil the brother of Gilbert the father of Agnes the mother of the said Edmund, is kinsman and next heir of Maud and Elizabeth, and of full age, to cause the said Anketil Hanby to have full seisin of the fourht part, as the king has taken his homage and fealty.
