Order to William Hampton, escheator in the county of Hereford and the march of Wales adjacent, to take the fealties of Warin Larchedeaken, knight, who has taken to wife Elizabeth one of the sisters and heirs of John Talbot the son and heir of John Talbot of Richards Castle, who held of Edward III in chief, Eleanor Talbot, second sister and heir of the said John son of John, and Matthew Gourney, knight, who has taken to wife Philippa, third sister and heir of the said John son of John, make a partition into three equal parts of all the lands which came to the hands of Edward III by the death of John the father and by reason of the minority of John son of John, who lately died while a minor in the king's ward, and are still in the king's hand, and cause Warin and Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Matthew and Philippa, to have full seisin of the pourparties of Elizabeth, Eleanor and Philippa respectively, provided that each of the said heirs and parceners have in her pourparty a share of the lands which are held of the king in chief, and so be the king's tenant; as the king, for 6 marks paid in the hanaper, has respited until the quinzaine of Hilary next the homage due from the said Warin by reason of his having offspring by Elizabeth, and also the homage of Eleanor. Order in like terms to Robert de la Lee, escheator in the county of Salop and the march of Wales adjacent.
