Commitment to William Clere of Pourestoke, by mainprise of John de Wykes of the county of Cambridge and Robert Crukern of the county of Somerset, of the keeping of the manor of Pourestoke and hundred of Pourestoke, co. Dorset, which are in the king's hand by the death of William de Wyndesore, chivaler, who held them of the king in chief, to hold the same from Easter last for as long as the manor and hundred shall remain in the king's hand for the said cause, rendering to the king il. yearly by equal portions at the Michaelmas and Easter Exchequers, and to Ives son and heir of William Fitz Waryn 181. and a pair of spurs yearly ; with clause touching maintenance of buildings etc. By bill of the treasurer.
