Commitment to.Robert Tresilian, chivaler, chief justice of the King's Bench, by mainprise of John Penros and Richard Glyvyon of the county of Cornwall, of the keeping of the manor of Conerton with the hundred of Penwyth, co. Cornwall, which belonged to John de Arundell, chivaler, of the same county, who held them of John Welyngton, a minor, who in turn held them of Edward lord le Despenser, a minor in the king's ward, and which are in the king's hand by reason of the minorities of the said Edward and John de Welyngton, and of John brother and heir of Ralph son and heir of the said John de Arundell, to hold the same from Christmas last until the lawful age of the said John brother of Ralph, rendering 201. yearly by equal portions at the Easter and Michaelmas Exchequers ; with clause touching maintenance of buildings etc. If in future the manor and hundred be found to be worth more than 20/., then Robert shall pay more therefor.
