Robert Giffard, assessed at two hobelers for his lands in the county of Suffolk, and discharged from one because it has been testified that he has not 10 marks of land and because in the rolls of Richard Talbot he is assessed at 100s. of land ; for 5 marks for the expenses of the one. By K. & C. Robert de Rokewod, assessed at one man at arms, one hobeler and one archer for his lands in the county of Suffolk, and discharged by the council from the hobeler and archer because a great part of his lands is not 6 leagues from the sea; for 10 marks for the expenses of the man at arms. By K. & C. John de Merston; for 40s. for the expenses of one archer for his lands in the county of Hertford and 3s. 4d. for his contempt. By K. & C.
