Commitment to brother Ralph Provost of Vaumont, prior of Stretfeld Say, an alien of France, on his petition, of the keeping of that priory and of the lands and other possessions belonging thereto, to hold so long as the war with France endure and the said priory, lands and possessions remain in the king's hand, saving to the king knights fees and advowsons of churches, rendering 100s. a year at the Exchequer or elsewhere at the king's order at Easter and Michaelmas by equal portions, the first term beginning at Easter next ; grant .
