to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer of Dublin enquire touching the lands committed to Walter de Coumbe [last but one] by inspection of the rolls and memoranda of the or by oath of men of those parts, and to deliver the same Walter, taking security from him for rendering the yearly value By C. to the king's subjects in the isles of Gernereye, Jereseye, Serk Aurneye to be intendant to Walter de Weston, appointed leutenant Thomas de Ferariis, keeper of the said isles, Thomas staying with king beyond seas, the king having assigned Walter to enquire inquisition and otherwise touching the rights and inheritances should pertain to the king but have been occupied by certain those parts to their own uses from the time when Otto de was keeper, and touching the goods and chattels of and other aliens in those isles which should remain to the on account of the war with France but have been taken and and to resume the same into the king's hand and keep them the king's use, so that answer be made for the issues thereof, and all other things relating thereto.
