to the escheator on this side Trent to take into the king's the lands which he finds by inquisition that John Deveroill in Hulle Deverel on the day when he withdrew from the realm, as the king has learned, they have not yet been taken into the hand pursuant to an order to the sheriff of Wilts [p. 207], the having learned that others hold the same, receiving the issues and thereof ; and to keep the same safely until further order, so he answer at the Exchequer for the issues thereof.
