Order to the sheriff of York to take into the king's hand the castle, honour and borough of Pontefract with the members, parks and other appurtenances in the county of York, which queen Isabel, the king's mother, who held the same for life of the king's assignment to the value of 1,000 marks a year, has rendered unto the king's hand. at his request ; and to keep the same safely until further order, so that he answer at the Exchequer for the issues thereof.
