Order to sheriffs and all other bailiffs, ministers and others of the county of Kent to be intendant to Richard de Wynferthyng, clerk, Giles de Milepois and Mulett de Tymbourn, king's serjeants at arms, whom the king has appointed to cause search to be made for a great treasure in a certain place underground in the town of Cuckelstane, co. Kent, from which, if it were found, great profit could arise to the king, and to cause the same, if any be found, to be safely kept, so that they answer for the same in the chamber.
