Grant to John de Foxle from the wastes in the forest of Wyndesore, Berks, of 3 roods and 2 perches at Pukemere, 2 acres by the land Burgeys, a butt (buticium) by his house at Pukemere, 8 acres of on Halsieshurst and by the purpresture of John de Braye, 18 perches at Halsieshurst by another purpresture of the John de Foxle, 10 acres, 3 roods and 37 perches by the pursometime of Sir Imbert de Monte Regali, 11 acres, 3 roods a perch at Fifhide, Halseleshull, Grymesdych, Maydewell, Twichene and Halseshurst, 11 perches of purpresture at 5 acres, 3 roods and 11 perches by the perch of 21 feet at 3 acres, 34 perches by the same perch at Altewode, and acres and 21 perches at la Twychene, to hold to him and his at the rent by the hands of the sheriff of 36s. 63d., to wit, for the at Pukemere, Halsieshurst by the purpresture of Imbert, Halseleshull, Grymesdych, Maydewell, Iwhurst, Twichene and 17s. 10 d., whereat the same were arrented by Geoffrey Picheford, and for the wastes at Clenhurst, Altewode and la 18s. 84d., whereat the wastes were arrented by John de which Geoffrey and John de Crokesle were appointed by I to arrent wastes in the said forest ; so that the said John Foxle and his heirs may enclose the said 87 acres, rood and 135 and butt with a small dyke and low hedge according to the assize, and bring the same into cultivation, and hold the same free entry and issue for all his beasts going thither from the highways and returning, so that he or his heirs claim no without the same.
