Order to the same to restore to John le Latimer the lands of the inheritance of William de Gouiz with the issues thereof from the time of the taking of the same into the king's hand by virtue of a former order [above, p. 74], so that if, after discussion be had thereon, it be found that the wardship of a moiety thereof pertain to the king, the said John shall be held to answer for the issues for the whole time wherein he has held the same ; he being on the king's service in Scotland and claiming that all the said lands are of the inheritance of Alice (sic, see p. 72), his wife, daughter and heir of the said William, and the king being unwilling that he be removed from his tenancy until discussion be had in John's presence after his return from Scotland whether the king or he ought to have the said wardship.
