Commitment to Thomas Clarell, esquire, and Richard Wynteworth, by mainprise of John Melton of the county of Nottingham and John Maresburgh of the county of York, of the keeping of all the lands late of John Fitz William, knight, who held of the king in chief by knight service on the day of his death ; to hold the same from the time of the death of the said John until the lawful age of John his son and heir, and so from heir to heir until one of them shall have attained full age, rendering the true extent, or as much as may be agreed upon between them and the treasurer by the feast of St. Peter ad Vincula next, and finding fit maintenance for the heir; with clause touching maintenance of buildings and support of charges.
