Commitment (with like clause) to John Clere, by mainprise of John Pile of the county of Somerset and Robert Clere of the county of Norfolk, of the keeping of the manor of Horstede, co. Norfolk, which manor is parcel of the alien house or priory (sic) of Came in Normandy ; to hold the same from Michaelmas last during the war with France, rendering 60s. yearly by equal at the Easter and Michaelmas Exchequers in addition all annuities or pensions charged on the manor for James and others; with proviso that the manor may be into the king's hands if he default in the payment of the for 40 days after any term.
