Commitment to Henry Wybbe, by mainprise of Richard Welneford of the county of Worcester and William Norton of the same county, of the keeping (1) of a messuage, 6 acres . 163 land and one acre of meadow in the town of Feckenham, are in the king's hands on account of the outlawry of Jay for felony, 49 Edward III, at the suit of the then king, also (2) of two messuages and two halves of a virgate of land in parcel of the manor of Alvechirche, which are in king's hand because Wulstan, late bishop of Worcester, held the said manor of the king in chief, gave them without king's licence to Thomas Henley and John his son and the of the body of Thomas ; to hold the same from Easter last as long as the premises shall remain in the king's hand for causes aforesaid, rendering 8s. 8d. yearly by equal portions Michaelmas and Easter, to wit, 2s. for (1) above, as he has before for the same, and 6s. 8d. for (2), as the escheator the county has answered yearly in his account; with clause maintenance of buildings and support of charges.
