Order to the escheator in the county of Hereford and the adjacent march of Wales, for certain causes moving the king and his council, to take into the king's hand, and cause answer to be made at the Exchequer for, all the lands which belonged to Roger de Mortuo Mari, late earl of March, who held of Richard IIT in chief, to whomsoever committed or granted by the king, or by the said late king, together with the issues and profits thereof since Michaelmas last, the lands which Edward Charleton, chivaler, and Eleanor his wife, sometime the wife of the said late earl, hold in dower, or otherwise for term of Eleanor's life, of the inheritance of the said late earl, only excepted.
