Commitment to John Michel, by mainprise of Robert Hamound, de Norton and John Chaumpeneys of the city of London, the keeping of certain tenements called Charles in Derteford, Kent, which the said John claims to hold in fee, and which have taken into the king's hand for certain causes by John de Ty, in the said county, to hold the same, with the issues thereof they were so taken, for as long as they shall remain in the king's for those causes, rendering at the Exchequer 4 marks yearly (at sum the tenements are extended) by equal portions at Easter Michaelmas, if it be adjudged that the tenements or the issues ought by right to pertain to the king.
