Order to John de Evesham, escheator in the county of Southampton, to an inquisition made by John de Estbury, late escheator, that Nicholas de Venus held in chief in fee tail on the day of death a toft and 60 acres of uncultivated land in Folle in the of Brembelshute within the forest of Wolmere, by the service being chief forester of the said forest, of the gift and grant of John Venus, his father, to him and the heirs of his body, with remainder fee tail to Hugh de Venus, son of the said John, and remainder over Constance late the wife of John Mareschal, daughter of the said now deceased (defuncte), and her heirs, and that the premises to remain to John, son and heir of the said Constance, who is full age, because both Nicholas and Hugh died without heir of their deliver the premises to the said John son of Constance, the king has taken his homage and fealty.
