Order to John de Estbury, escheator in the county of Wilts, to an inquisition made by him shewing that Katharine did not hold any lands in chief in her demesne as of fee in the county, whereby the wardship of her lands ought to pertain to king at present, but held in her demesne as of fee 8 acres of land in St. Andrew of the heir of William Fitz Waryn, a minor the king's ward, by service of 14d. yearly, and divers other lands of lords, and that Richard Burdon, son of Joan Burdon, one of sisters of Juliana Aylmer, her mother, Isabel Thirsteyn, Juliana's sister, whom Walter Thirsteyn has taken to wife, and Isabel, of Edith Grondewell, Juliana's third sister, are her kinsfolk next heirs, Richard and Isabel Thirsteyn being of full age, and daughter of Edith being 14 years old, to make a partition of said 8 acres into three equal parts, and deliver their respective to Richard, and to Walter and Isabel, and the remaining with the issues since Katharine's death, to the nearest of Isabel daughter of Edith who is outside the line of succession, be kept for Isabel's use until her lawful age; and to meddle no further the lands held of other lords, delivering any issues taken thereof the death of Katharine'to those to whom they belong: as the has taken the fealties of Richard and Walter.
