Order to Roger de Wolfreton, escheator in the county of Norfolk, to an inquisition made by him shewing that Joan late the of Robert de Morle held in chief for life, of the grant of Thomas de late earl of Norfolk and marshal of England, two parts 4 pieces of marsh and:pasture in Halveryate containing 980 acres, parcel of the earl's barony, the reversion thereof (together with the part thereof held in dower by Mary late the wife of the earl) Wt, 21249, F9,. belonging to Margaret, wife of Walter de Mauny, daughter and one of the heirs of the earl, and to Elizabeth late the wife of Walter de Ufford, deceased, Joan, wife of William de Ufford, and Maud, sister of the said Elizabeth and Joan, daughters and heirs of Alice late the wife of Edward de Monte Acuto, the other of the daughters and heirs of the earl, and that Margaret and Elizabeth are of full age, Joan and Maud being minors, to make a partition of the premises into two equal parts and deliver to the said Walter and Margaret the pourparty belonging to Margaret, retaining the pourparties of Elizabeth, Joan and Maud in.the king's hand until further order: as the king has respited until Michaelmas the homage due from Walter by reason of his having offspring by Margaret, because he is staying in parts beyond seas on the king's service.
