Notification to John de Berneye, William Bisshop, serjeant-at-arms, Robert Clere, commissioners appointed to enquire touching the of those who took salt fish out of the port of Blakeneye against ordinance made in the last Parliament, that the king, wishing to gently with James Wilkynes, Edmund Kyng, Henry Mayessone Nicholas Hervy, who have been convicted before the commissioners Wt, 21249 F4, of discharging 700 salt fish by the great hundred in divers places outside the said port against the ordinance, as William has certified in the Chancery, has remitted to them 400 of the said 700 fish, inasmuch as the aforesaid discharge was made very soon after the making _ of the ordinance; and order to the commissioners to receive the remaining 300 fish for the king's use and deliver them by indenture to the king's clerk, William de Retford, keeper of the wardrobe, or his deputy, for the expenses of the king's household.
