. 47 Fine Rolls, 1347-1356, p. 301], the king, on 26 February, 29 Edward ITI, ordered William de Threlkeld, then escheator in the said county, make the partition, etc., and that the said William has signified he has made the partition and delivered the pourparties, except of John son of Alice late the wife of Thomas de Kirkebythore, account of his minority, and those of Margery, wife of Ralph de and Maud, wife of Thomas de Hanlaghby, who have the said Ralph and Margery, and Thomas and Maud, have now for delivery of their pourparties out of the king's hand, to to them their said pourparties in accordance with an enclosed of the partition made by William de Threlkeld, retaining pourparty of John son of Alice until further order. Commiitment to Roger Deuyas and Robert Deuyas, at the request Anne late the wife of Edward le Despenser, who by her petition alleged that by a writ of the Exchequer of Dublin her castle of and her manors and all her other lands and liberties in the of Kilkenny, together with the farms, bailiwicks and other pertaining thereto, which sometime belonged to Eleanor la deceased, have been unjustly and without reasonable taken into the king's hand, of the keeping of the said castle, and other premises, as fully and entirely as they were taken the king's hand, to hold the same for as long as they shall remain the king's hand, together with the issues thereof from the time of being so taken, rendering to the king yearly the true value thereof, case it be adjudged that there was just cause for their being taken, to which the king is not yet fully informed. By . Be it remembered that Anne le Despenser and Edward le Despenser, son, mainperned for Roger and Robert that they would answer the value of the premises as above.
