Commitment to Humphrey duke of Gloucester, Thomas Percy, knight, William Somerton, John Ryppley, esquire, William Pekke, Robert Feyrford and William Bokeland, by mainprise of William Godyng and Thomas Snell, of the keeping of the manor of Littylton, co. Middlesex, which has been taken into the king's hand by colour of a certain inquisition taken by virtue of his office before Stephen Slegge, escheator in the said county, after the death of Simon Porcele, and sent before the king in the Chancery ; to hold the same from the time of the taking of the said inquisition until Christmas next, according to the form of the statute published in the Parliament held at Westminster 8 Henry VI; provided that they answer at the Exchequer for the issues forthcoming therefrom in the mean time, if they shall be adjudged to the king, and in the mean time commit no waste.
