Commitment to John Stathum, esquire, and John his son, mainprise of John Tunstede of Wormele, co. Derby, gentiland Robert Rasyn of Notyngham, co. Nottingham, gentilthe keeping of the castle and lordship of Hereston, with its appurtenances, co. Derby ; to hold the same from the time the death of Richard Hastynges, knight, for 12 years, at a farm of 11/.; with proviso that if any other person shall willing, by Easter next, to give more for the said keeping, then said John and John shall be bound to pay such larger sum if will have the keeping. By bill of the treasurer.
