Commitment to John archbishop of York, by mainprise of William Normanton, clerk, and Thomas Weston of London, fysshmonger, of the keeping of all the lands late of Richard atte Kyrke and Joan his wife, who held of the king in chief on the days of their death ; to hold the keeping of the lands late of Richard from the time of his death, and of the lands late of Joan from the time of her death, until the lawful age of William atte Kyrke the son and heir of the said Richard and Joan, together with the marriage of the said heir, and if he die within age without heir of his body, his sister Isabel being then within age, then the said archbishop is to have the keeping of the said lands together with the marriage of the said Isabel, rendering yearly the keeping of the lands the extent thereof, or as much as may be agreed upon between him and the treasurer by Christmas next, paying for the marriage as much as may likewise be agreed upon, and finding fit maintenance for the heir; with clause touching maintenance of houses, enclosures and buildings, and support of charges. By bill of the treasurer.
