Commitment (with like clause and proviso) to William Ryman, -by mainprise of John Payn of Cokefeld, co. Sussex, and John Bartlot of Warnham, co. Sussex, of the keeping of the castle and lordship of Dalilee with the members Tebrighton and Stirchele, co. Salop, which Margaret late the wife of Rowland Lentale, knight, had of the grant of Thomas late earl of Arundell, who granted and demised them to the said Margaret for term of her life with reversion to the said late earl and his heirs male ; to hold the said castle and lordship, which are held of the king in chief by knight service and which came to the hands of Henry V and are still in the king's hand by the death of Margaret and by reason of the minority of John son and heir of John Arundell, chivaler, the heir male of the said late earl, from Michaelmas last until the full age of the said heir, at a yearly farm of the 100s. for which Hugh Hernage, late escheator of the county, answered to the king. By bill of the treasurer.
