Commitment to John Colles of Huntyngdon and Thomas of Huntyngdon, by mainprise of William Spencer Bykeleswade and John Vescy of Swaveseye, both of the county Cambridge, of the keeping of the castle and honour of with its members and appurtenances in the counties Huntingdon, Cambridge, Bedford, Buckingham and late of John Hastynges, late earl of Pembroke ; hold the same, which are in the king's hand for certain causes, Michaelmas last for 20 years, rendering 5 marks yearly equal portions at Easter and Michaelmas, as John Draper Gamelyngeye, the last farmer, used to render, maintaining houses, enclosures and buildings, and supporting all charges on the said castle and honour.
