To John de Hale escheator in Somerset. Order to remove the hand, and not to meddle further with the manors of Burnham Brene taken into the king's hand by the death of Thomas de knight, delivering to William de Monte Acuto earl of any issues thereof taken; as it is found by inquisition, at the king's command by Walter Cyfrewast late escheator, that the said Thomas at his death held no lands in that county in or of others in his demesne as of fee, but held the said manors life by grant of the said earl, with reversion to the earl and his and that the same are held of others than the king.
