John Haukyn one of the king's serjeants at arms is sent to the and convent of Abyndon, to have for life such maintenance that abbey as Adam del Castel deceased had at the king's command. By p.s. [380854.] Charter of Katherine daughter and heir of John Baas, giving with to John Twyford, Andrew Barentyn and William Britford, heirs and assigns, all her lands, rents and services in Bokyngham, and Hadyngton co. Bokyngham late of William Kynbell, all other her lands in that county. Witnesses: Roger atte Thomas Cotes, Hugh Waltham, Robert Boxford. Dated 8 January 49 Edward III.
