Order not to meddle in aught affecting the keeping the peace or the office of justice of oyer and terminer within the of Coventre by virtue of the king's late commission appointing them of the peace and nine, eight etc. of them justices of oyer terminer in Warwickshire within liberties and without, and to do fulfil certain other things in his letters patent contained ; as by letters patent the king has appointed John de Cavendissh, de Stafford, Hugh de Segrave, Thomas de Ingelby, William de Nicholas Michel, Simon Licchefold (sic), John Percy and de Sheldon guardians of the peace and eight, seven etc. of them of oyer and terminer in that town.
