To the chapter of St. Peter's, York. Order to deliver to Edward all the money of the fruits and issues of the deanery of church and of the prebend of Langetoft in that church, without to be taken by them to the king, as the king lately appointed de Saleby, John de Middelton, the said Edward, John de and Robert de Hydyngham to seise all the said fruits and issues, the time when those benefices came into the hands of Philip de the king's clerk, to expose them for sale, and to levy and receive money for which answer had not been made to Philip, for the king's so that they should answer for all the money thereof, in part of 2,000/. in which Philip was bound to the king, previously on loan by him from the treasurer of the king's chamber, and the king ordered the chapter to deliver all the money of the said and issues to Arnulph and the others, yet he now wishes the money be delivered to Edward, to whom he has given power to make letters of By letter of the Griffin.
