To the sheriff of Derby. Although on 25 August last the king pardoned Roger de Cothale, canon of Breideshalepark, the suit of his peace for the death of Thomas Kyner of Newcastle, prior of Breideshalepark, whereof he is judged or indicted and also the outlawry promulgated against him, so that he should stand to right in the king's court, if any one should wish to speak against him, but as the prior was falsely and maliciously killed by - as the king is informed, so that the king was deceived in the first of pardon, he has revoked those letters: he therefore orders the sheriff cause the revocation of those letters to be proclaimed, and to retain the for the proclamation of the peace, and to send them to chancery to cancelled.
