To the mayor, bailiffs, controller, customers and other good people of the town of Kyngeston upon Hull. Recital of the same order with order to depute certain stathes upon the said water of Hull where all the wool to be shipped shall be weighed in the open, and to cause the porters of wool to swear that they will loyally serve the king and his people in carrying the wool without fraud and that they will take no wool by night but openly, and they will not suffer the carriage of the wool to be done by others, and the mayor and others shall cause the preceding articles to be observed as aforesaid, certifying the king in chancery from time to time of all their action in the matter. Summons to attend a parliament to be held at Westminster on Monday after the quinzaine of Easter next to treat upon the truce with the king's adversaries of France arranged at the instance of the bishops of Palestrina and Tusculum, cardinals of the Holy Roman church, envoys of the pope sent to the king for this purpose, to treat concerning peace and upon other causes touching the public weal, warning the prior and chapter of Christ Church, Canterbury, the archdeacons and all the clergy of his diocese, to attend the said parliament, the prior and archdeagons in person and the chapter and clergy by their proctors.
