To the takers and purveyors of wool in co. Southampton. Order to the 105 sacks of wool arrested by them at Tuttebury and Colkerton, Gloucester, to be arrested, without delay, and delivered to John Thomas de Peruchfiis], and their fellows, merchants of the of the Peruzzi or their attorney, and to permit them to take sacks thereof to the port of Southampton, and the remaining 25 in 50 packed pockets, to the port of Bristol, to be taken thence to own parts, according to the king's orders to the collectors in those as before the king's passage to parts beyond the sea, those merundertook before the king and his council at Walton, to pay to the merchants of the society of the Bardi for the 1,0002., which promised to pay for the king to the mariners and others at sea in for their wages so that the Peruzzi should take 500 sacks to their parts, and the custom and subsidy thereon should be allowed to for the 1,000/., and the king granted that they should lade 430 of that wool in the port of Southampton, and the remaining 70 in the port of Bristol, to take them to the said parts, and now the merchants of the Peruzzi have besought the king to order the said sacks to be arrested, and to permit fhe to take the sacks to the parts, according to the agreement as they paid the 1,000/. to the of the society of the Bardi, as may fully appear by those .---Parr IT. 461 Jembrane 16 letters patent of receipt, and they bought 500 sacks of wool, to 205 at Southampton, 126 at Winchester, 40 at Middelton, co. Dor- 105 at Tuttebury and Colkerton, co. Gloucester, and 24 in the city London, and the said 105 sacks are arrested by the purveyors, for the use, by reason of their commission. The king has ordered the of wool in the other counties to cause the remaining 395 sacks by them, to be de-arrested and delivered to the merchants, or their attorneys, to be taken to the ports aforesaid.
