William Trussel, escheator this side Trent. Order not to distrain de Haudlo of Wythefeld for her homage by reason of the lands she holds of Queen Philippa and Robert Kenteys, during the life, as the escheator returned that he had not taken into the hands the view of frankpledge of Matilda, an acre of land, 5s. and the moiety of a market and fair in Horndon, but that he had her by her cattle found in these tenements, because she holds in chief with other lands, by homage, and she did not render it, afterwards at Matilda's suit showing that the view, land, rent and are held of Queen Philippa by knight's service as of the honour Reylegh and not in chief, the king ordered the escheator to take an upon the premises, by which it is found that Matilda holds view, rent and moiety of the queen as of the said honour by the of the 20th part of a knight's fee, and the said land of Robert by the service of 6d. yearly.
