To the taxers and collectors of the tenth and fifteenth in co, Kent. Order to supersede the taxing and levying of the tenth and fifteenth of the goods of the hospital of the Maison Dieu, Dover, permitting the master and brethren to be quit thereof, as they have been before these times, as the hospital was founded by Henry, formerly king of England, and is so slenderly endowed that the goods thereof will hardly suffice for the maintenance of the master and brethren, and of the poor and infirm who frequent it, and for doing other alms there, and if the hospital is charged with the aids granterl to the king, it will behove the master and brethren to diminish the said alms.
