To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer and to the chamberlains, to cause 291. 5s. 74d. to be paid to William Qwyn, merckant of Barton, upon examination of his bill they shall find that the said sum is still to him, or to cause him to have a competent assignment therefor, the bill from William and charging therewith Robert de Tonge, of the king's victuals at Berwick-upon-Tweed, as William has the king to order the said 29/. 5s. 74d. to be paid to him, as the is bound to him in that sum for 12 tuns of red wine bought from by Robert for the king's use, as may fully appear by a bill under seal in William's possession.
