To Thomas de Foxley, constable of Wyndesore castle, or to him who supplies his place. Order to deliver to the abbot of St. Peter's, Westminster, eight bucks on the eve of St. Peter and Vincula next from the forest of Wyndesore, to be taken by the constable at the king's cost and carried to Westminster in accordance with the grant of Henry ITI. of eight bucks to be taken yearly in the said forest, to be carried by the constable to Westminster on the eve of the said feast, so that those who thus carry the venison shall make two companies (faciant duas meneyas) before the high altar of St. Peter's, Westminster.
