Adam son of Gilbert de Berburn acknowledges that he owes to the abbot St. Mary's, York, 40/.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands chattels in co. Westmorland. Robert, prior of Marton in Galtres, acknowledges for himself and convent they owe to William, archbishop of York, 20 marks ; to be levied, default of payment, of their lands and chattels and ecclesiastical goods in co. York. ___ The abbot of Barlynges, the abbot of Revesby, Alesia, late the wife of Ebulo Lestraunge, and Henry de Halton, executors of the will of Ebulo put in their place John de Codyngton, clerk, and Richard de to prosecute the execution of a recognisance for 2004. made to in chancery by Richard de Calsale.
