To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Because the king caused acres 1 rood 14 perches of land of the land of William Maurdyn, his yeoman, called Maurdyn Rudyng in la Knaipe in Shawe, adjacent to the new park of Wyndesor, for which William was wont to render 26s. O d. the exchequer by the hands of the constabie of Wyndesore castle, yearly, be enclosed iu that park, and the king holds them so enclosed, he orders the treasurer and barons to discharge and acquit William and the constable of that castle of the same 26s. O d., releasing them from any distraint made for that cause if the treasurer and barons shall find by inspection of the rolls and memoranda of the exchequer that William was bound to 26s.
