To Adam de Wileby, escheator in cos. Hereford, Gloucester, Worcester, Stafford, and the march of Wales adjoining. Order to deliver to late the wife of Geoffrey de Cornub[ia], the manors of Burford and co. Salop, restoring the issues thereof to her, because the king has by inquisition taken by the escheator that Geoffrey and Margaret the said manors jointly at Geoffrey's death for themselves and the heirs their bodies, of the gift and enfeoffment. of Joan, late the wife of Richard Cornub[ia], by the king's licence, and by a fine levied in the king's with remainder to Geoffrey's right heirs, if he and Margaret should without heirs of their bodies ; and that the manors are held of the king chief by barony, to wit, by the service of 1 knight's fees, and the king taken the fealty of Margaret, due to him in this respect.
