Order to find by inquior by any other lawful manner the day of the death of John de and cause justice to be done both for the king and for Roger de and others concerned, as John held the hundreds of Lodenyng, and others in cos. Norfolk and Suffolk for life, by the grant of late king, which hundreds were lately taken into the king's hand by then sheriff of those counties, on John's death, and the king has that the treasurer and barons delayed to proceed to charge Roger the issues of the said hundreds, from the time when they came into custody, because they did not know the date of John's death.
