Order to deliver to Richard le Gold- 40. from the money of the said aid and from other money in that custody, for his expenses, as the king has appointed Richard to in York county 60 carpenters to make certain of the king's engines as many sawyers (saghiatores), smiths, ropers (ropar ), and other as shall be necessary for doing these works.
