To Richard de Eimeldon, mayor of Newcastle-on-Tyne, one of the keepers in co. Northumberland of the truce with the Scots. Order to permit John de Walton of Baumburgh and William de Hevedrawe of Baumburgh to buy 20 chaldrons (celdras) of sea-coal in Newcastle, and to carry them into Scotland for the delivery of Roger son of the said John, and William son of the said William, who were lately delivered as hostages to the Scots for certain reasons, making letters patent of conduct for the said John and William.
