To the collectors in co. York of the scutage of the army of Scotland for fourth year of the king's reign. Order to supersede the demand made Thomas Ughtred in the manor of Bentle, which belonged to Payn de tenant in chief, by reason of the minority of Payn s heir, whose the king committed to Thomas, for the scutage for the army aforeduring the said custody ; provided that the scutage of the knights fees of the heir be levied for the king's use.
