To John Everard, escheator in cos. Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Order not to intermeddle further with the manors of Otery, Galmeton, and Stokeflemyng, and with rents of 9/. and 77s. 9d. Marynlegh and Dertemuth, co. Devon, which he has taken into the king's by reason of the death of John de Carru, and to restore the issues as the king learns by inquisition taken by the escheator that John the manors and rent for life by virtue of a fine levied before the justices the Bench, between him and Nicholas his son, demandants, and William of the said Nicholas, deforciant, with remainder to Nicholas and the of his body, with remainder to John brother of Nicholas and the heirs his body, and that Nicholas died without an heir of his body, for which the manor and rent ought to remain to the said John, and that they held of John de Mohun by knight service.
