To the same. Order to discharge John de Shaddeworth of the ferm of yearly from 25 February, in the 6th year of the king's reign, which he rendered for a messuage, 60 acres of arable land, and 15 acres of that belonged to Roger de Bosco of Colleston, co. Surrey, formerly in the hands by reason of the idiocy of John, son and heir of Roger, which extended at 15s. 2d. yearly by Walter de Gloucestre, Jate escheator side Trent, the custody whereof the king committed to the said John Shaddeworth on 8 October, in the 4th year of his reign, as the king, on aforesaid 25 February, ordered John Abel, then escheator this side not to intermeddle further with the lands of the said John son of because it was found by inquisition taken by the escheator that the John son of Roger held nothing in chief at his death by reason the custody of his lands ought to pertain to the king.
