Writ of swperin respect of their demand against Roger Walden to answer for a third part of five ships of Spain lately taken at sea king's admirals and brought to Sandewich, and of goods and therein to no small value, whereof the third part to the king, or for other enemies ships and goods taken by the admirals and other lieges in the king's service at his by reason of the king's commission of 4 June 10 Richard IT de Burle late constable of Dovorre castle and warden of Ports, Baldwin de Radyngton controller of the king's the said Roger and William Hauney his clerks to survey ships and goods and any other which should be taken to take in his name the third part. thereof to the king and to safe keep the same until further order, and order to nevertheless against other commissioners who meddled therein ; commission was not delivered to the said Roger, neither did he it for execution, nor meddle in aught therein contained, as is informed by credible witness.
