To Amandus Mounceux escheator in Cumberland. Order in presence of John de Scardeburgh, to whom the king has committed the wardship of the land and heir of John de Warthewyke knight, to assign to Richard Morthynge and Maud his wife, late wife of the deceased, dower of her husband's lands taken into the king's hand by his death and by reason of the nonage of George his son and heir ; as for a fine paid by the said Richard the king has pardoned his trespass in taking the said Maud to wife and her trespass in marrying him without licence of the king.
